Our Little Learners are having lots of fun with spring.  We have caterpillars who have gone to the chrysalis stage (cocoon); we are reading Very Hungry Caterpillar to understand the life cycle of butterflies as we watch them unfold.  We also have butterfly and dragonfly art projects and are racing them with our friends across the floor.  We have ladybugs in our insect home and we are making our own ladybug clocks and reading the Very Grouchy Ladybug and we are reading the Lonely Firefly and so we made our own fireflies out of tissue paper and watched them fly out of a large bowl.  We pride ourselves on our integrated learning experiences and our emphasis on science experiments.  If you are interested in visiting Little Learners, contact Eileen Barnes at 970-635-0402 and arrange a good time for a tour.
